From dark to pale brown, with a touch of pink at the center, small groups of mushrooms scared of the glare of the summer heat and the whisper of the late autumn breeze ask mossy lawns and needle beds and conifers and deciduous trees a favor—to be their hideaway. Can they handle the seasons of their lives?
