About Wandering Gliders
This little
dragonfly named the “Wandring Glider or Globe Skimmer” has its name right. It
is a circumtropical species from all continents crossed by the equator and has
a very wide distribution area. It is an obligate migrant of which the
migrations are linked to the monsoon front. Its speed is up to 5m/s. It is the
highest flying, most widespread and cosmopolitan dragonfly.
